I just want to share this story,
and please do not have any doubts
that it's a true real-life happenings.
A lady of age 28 came to Singapore to work
to provide for her parents and small family of her own.
She had been in Singapore for about 3 months and
was working in a factory.
Every night, she would tear because she missed her mother so badly.
The bond of the mother and daughter was so strong.
Her father was unwell and had to depend on her mother
to make noodles to sell.
On the night of mid-autumn festival,
she went back to Malaysia with the purpose of spending it with her parents.
On the next day, her colleauges in Singapore received her phone call.
She was crying.
"My mother passed away on the previous night." She sobbed.
It was a case of robbery.
After the autopsy,
she went in to look at her mother.
She was badly stitched up.
"She was not the mother I knew." She said.
It pained her to lose her mother
and worst to witness her in that state.
Weeks later, it was confirmed that her father had contracted cancer.
It was another crisis for her.
She told her colleague that she had lost her meaning of life.
She was what she used to be.
She lost her words, happiness and willpower to live.
But she continued to work because she needed to make money,
for her family.
"I will probably choose the next mid-autumn festival to depart.
On the same day as my mum." She sobbed.
P.S This is a true story.
